CHAT: M-CHAT Modified CHecklist for Autism in Toddlers (Robins et al. 2001) Es un instrumento donde su formato y las primeras nueve preguntas están tomadas directamente del CHAT (Baron-Cohen et al. 1996) y se amplia el cuestionario para poder identificar un mayor número de Trastornos Generalizados del Desarrollo y no tener que depender de las observaciones del personal médico, es sensible para niños a partir de los 24 meses.
